Auto-Refresh (also known as a Rotating Proxy Plan) is a subscription add-on that automatically updates your proxy list at your chosen interval, helping you maintain clean IPs, avoid bans, and reduce manual proxy management. It’s especially useful for ongoing tasks like web scraping, automation, or account management where consistent performance and anonymity are key.
We recommend using Auto-Refresh when:
You need fresh IPs regularly to avoid blocks and maintain performance.
You want to automate proxy updates without manual replacements.
You're running long-term or high-frequency tasks that require consistent IP rotation.
How to Enable Auto-Refresh
Go to the ‘My Plan’ section of your account.
Click the ‘Edit’ button next to ‘No automatic proxy list refreshes available.’
Open the 'Automatic Refresh' dropdown menu and select the frequency at which you wish your proxy to be refreshed (e.g., every 5 minutes, every day, or once a month). You can also select ‘Custom’ to define your own rotation frequency.
Click the ‘Continue’ button to complete the purchase.
After completing the setup, your proxy list will automatically update at the frequency you selected, replacing all IPs with fresh ones.
Please note: Your proxy list won’t be refreshed immediately after purchase. The first refresh will occur after the chosen interval has passed (for example, if you select a monthly refresh frequency, your list will be updated exactly 30 days after the feature was purchased).
Just like with On-Demand Refresh, when your list is refreshed, the replaced proxies will not appear in the "Replaced" section. However, you'll see a timestamped message above your proxy list indicating when your last refresh occurred.
How to Avoid Connection Interruptions
While the Auto-Refresh feature keeps your proxy list fresh and optimized, it can occasionally lead to connection issues if your setup isn’t configured to handle automatic changes.
A common issue users encounter is the no_proxies_allocated
error. This typically occurs when your system attempts to connect to proxies that were refreshed and are no longer part of your active list.
To avoid this error, we recommend connecting to your proxies through Backbone Connection. This configuration keeps your proxy credentials consistent, so you won’t need to manually update your list after each refresh.
