What is IP Authorization?
Updated over 2 weeks ago

IP authorization is a simple and efficient way to authenticate your proxies without the hassle of managing credentials.

Key Benefits:

  • No Credentials Needed

  • Wide Compatibility: Works seamlessly with most software and applications.

  • Multi-Account Support: Authorize the same IP across multiple accounts for added convenience.

  • Dual Functionality: Can be used alongside traditional proxy credentials for extra flexibility.

How Does It Work?

Setting up IP authorization is quick and straightforward. Follow these simple steps:

  1. Navigate to the Proxy Settings page in your account.

  2. Go to the IP Authorizations section and click Add New IP Address.

  3. Enter your IP address and click Save.

That’s it! You’re ready to configure proxies using only the Proxy Address and Port. This setup will apply to the device with the authorized IP address in your account.

Tip: We make it even easier by displaying your device’s current IP address above the IP Authorizations list. Simply copy and paste it to streamline the process.

Need to Authorize Multiple IPs?

By default, all plans allow one authorized IP address per account. If you need more, we’ve got you covered!

  • Upgrade your plan with the Unlimited IP Authorizations feature to authorize as many IP addresses as you need.

  • Visit the Browse Plans page to explore options and unlock unlimited IP flexibility.
