Requesting a Refund

Updated over a week ago

At Webshare, we do everything we can to ensure you’re satisfied with our service so that a refund isn’t necessary. However, we understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned. Maybe the plan isn’t the right fit, or maybe you forgot to cancel, and it auto-renewed. In these situations, you can request a refund if you meet the eligibility requirements.

Eligibility for Refunds

To be eligible for a refund, you must meet all of the following conditions:

  • The plan bandwidth usage must be less than 1 GB.

  • The number of proxies used in the subscription must be below 1,000.

  • You request a refund not later than 48 hours after the purchase.

You can find our complete refund policy on our Terms and Conditions page.

Also, keep in mind that Account Credits are non-refundable. Credits act like an account balance and are applied to upcoming subscriptions or renewals. They can also be transferred to another Webshare account upon request.

How Refunds Are Processed

Cancelling your subscription does not automatically result in a refund. Refunds can only be approved and processed by a customer support representative based on your eligibility.

To request a refund, feel free to reach out to our support team at [email protected].

Once a refund is issued:

  • Your subscription is immediately downgraded to the free plan.

  • Any existing account credits are removed.

  • Your active payment method is deleted from our system to prevent additional charges.

  • Refunds typically take 2–10 days to appear in your bank account, depending on your payment provider. To expedite the process, it is recommended to contact your bank directly after the refund is processed.

Alternatives to Cancelling and Requesting a Refund

If you don’t have time to wait for the refund to process and still want to continue with a different plan, we recommend changing your plan instead of cancelling and repurchasing. This way, you receive account credits for any unused time and bandwidth from your current plan, and these credits are automatically applied to your new plan at checkout.

Alternatively, if you were recently charged for a renewal but don’t need the subscription this month, you can choose to pause your subscription. This way, your subscription time will be put on hold during the pause and will only start counting down again once you unpause, and you can keep your current proxy list intact.
