How do I use the converted IP as the proxy address instead of the domain?
Updated over a week ago

Using converted IP as the proxy address instead of our domain is suggested if the proxies are blocked with the rotating proxy endpoint or in the backbone connection because the website can be blocking our domain, p.webshare.io.

The converted IP address is automatically configured closest to your location. It works the same way as our domain. That said if you're using the rotating proxy endpoint with the converted IP address, the assigned IP address will change with every sent request.

Here's how you can get the converted IP address:

1. Go to the Proxy List section:

2. Make sure the connection method is set to Backbone:

3. Click the convert button:

Then, use the converted IP instead of p.webshare.io. The port should remain 80.
