High-Priority Network

Updated over a week ago

By default, Webshare’s servers handle all requests on a first-come, first-served basis. If many requests are being sent simultaneously, the system distributes resources equally. This can lead to delays or less stable connection during peak usage times, as your requests may be queued behind others.

This premium feature is designed to prioritize your network requests and enhance the proxy performance and the stability of your network connection.

How Does It Work?

When the High-Priority Network feature is enabled, your traffic is automatically prioritized when multiple users are making requests through Webshare’s servers. This ensures that your connection remains consistent, with reduced fluctuations in response times.

However, this feature does not affect your latency or speed —it simply enhances connection reliability by ensuring consistent performance.

If you are encountering issues with proxy speed, we recommend referring to this article instead: What can I do if the proxies are slow?

Use Case Recomendations

The High-Priority Network feature is ideal for situations where stable and consistent performance is crucial. Some common use cases include:

  • Real-time Gaming – Ensures smooth gameplay by reducing lag and connection drops.

  • Stock Trading – Prioritizes your requests to avoid delays during fast-paced trading, where every millisecond counts.

  • Video Streaming – Improves the quality of video streams on platforms like Netflix or YouTube, reducing buffering and interruptions.

  • Live Streaming – Enhances your connection for live streaming platforms such as Twitch, ensuring a smoother and more stable broadcast.

  • Video Calls – Improves call quality for video conferences, online meetings, and FaceTime calls by minimizing delays and ensuring a stable connection.

In general, any situation that requires a stable, uninterrupted connection—such as real-time interactions, content consumption, or important transactions—will benefit from this feature.
