High IP Reputation Score is a security metric that determines the trustworthiness of a user's connection. Expressed as a numerical rating from 0 to 100, this score assesses whether an IP address belongs to a legitimate user or is associated with high-risk activities such as bot traffic, fraud, or malicious intent.
How Does It Work?
Our system integrates with Scamalytics, a premier fraud-detection engine that analyzes IP addresses against a global database of known threats and connection types.
Key Detection Factors
ISP Reputation: Checks if the Internet Service Provider hosts high volumes of spam or bot traffic
Historical Abuse: Scans for previous reports of hacking, brute-force attacks, or fraudulent transactions associated with that IP
Geolocation: Flags discrepancies between reported and actual connection locations
When to Use High IP Reputation?
High IP Reputation Score proxies offer pristine usage history that withstands aggressive fraud checks, providing an additional layer of trust for mission-critical operations.

What the Feature Does
High IP Reputation is applied when proxies are assigned to your plan. Any proxy assigned while the feature is active is screened for a clean fraud score before it reaches your list. Proxies already on your list are not re-checked.
This means the feature behaves differently depending on how you add it.
You are buying a new plan
All proxies assigned to the plan are screened. Your list will be clean from the start. No further action is needed.
You are adding the feature to an existing plan
Your current proxies will not change. If your plan already contains proxies with elevated fraud scores, those same proxies remain on your list after the feature is added.
This is the most common reason customers see high fraud scores on a plan they have just upgraded. To bring your existing list up to standard, you have two options:
Enable automatic replacement (recommended) — see the steps below. The system will find and replace elevated-score proxies for you, without using your manual replacements.
Replace proxies manually from your proxy list. This uses your manual replacement allowance.
You are changing your proxy count
Proxies added when you increase your count are screened and will have clean scores. When you reduce your count, proxies are currently removed without regard to their fraud score, so the ones remaining may not be the cleanest. If you need specific proxies kept, contact support before downsizing.
Why Fraud Scores Change Over Time
A proxy that was clean when assigned can pick up a fraud score later. Reputation databases update continuously, and an IP's rating can change based on activity across the wider internet, not only your own usage.
This is normal and expected. The automatic replacement rule is what keeps your list clean over time — without it, a proxy whose score rises will stay on your plan until you replace it yourself.
How to Add High IP Reputation to Your Plan
Visit the Plans & Pricing page.
Scroll down to the Unlock Pro Capabilities section.
Check the High IP Reputation box to enable this feature for your plan.
Review the pricing. The feature cost will be added to your monthly total.
Proceed with checkout.
Enabling Automatic Replacement
This is the setting that keeps your proxy list clean over time. It is turned off by default.
Steps to enable auto-replace:
Go to the Proxy Settings page on your account.
Navigate to the Replace Proxies tab.
In the Auto-replace when section, select the checkbox next to Proxy no longer has High IP Reputation.
Click Save Changes.
Replacements usually begin within a few minutes and can take up to 15 minutes to complete.
Before you enable it: automatic replacement means your IP addresses will change without warning when their scores rise. If you rely on specific IPs staying constant — for allowlists, logged-in sessions, or accounts tied to an address — you may prefer to replace proxies manually so you control when changes happen.
Verifying Fraud Scores
We recommend checking your proxy fraud scores on Scamalytics.com. Because the High IP Reputation feature is integrated with their database, Scamalytics reflects the same data our system uses when screening and replacing your proxies.
Why other checkers may show a different score
Other third-party services maintain their own independent databases, with their own scoring methods and update schedules. It is normal for them to disagree with each other for the same IP.
Our screening and automatic replacement are based on Scamalytics. A proxy showing an elevated score elsewhere but a clean score on Scamalytics will not be replaced automatically. If a specific site you need to reach is rejecting your proxies, contact support with the site name and the response you are seeing — that is more useful to us than a checker score.
