Endpoint Generator: Rotating Residential

Our new Endpoint Generator, exclusively available to Rotating Residential plans and offers city filtering.

We've added a new way to connect to your Rotating Residential plan proxies: the Endpoint Generator. It gives you more customization when connecting to your Rotating Residential proxies and is currently the only plan that supports city selection.

How does it work?

The Endpoint Generator brings all your connection settings onto one page:

  • Top: a Quick Test Command you can copy and run right away

  • Left: your endpoint configuration (authentication, location, session type, and number of endpoints)

  • Right: your Endpoint Output, ready to copy or export

Configure your options on the left, and your output updates on the right. The sections below walk through each setting.

Authentication Methods

You can choose from three authentication methods:

  • Default user: your standard connection using your default username and password. Output is generated immediately.

  • Sub-user: select a sub-user from a list, and their credentials are pre-loaded into the output for quick copy/paste when testing with our test command or entering credentials into your setup.

  • Authorized IP: switches your credentials to use your Authorized IP instead of username and password authentication.

When you switch from Default User to Sub-user or Authorized IP, your last generated output remains visible until you select a sub-user or Authorized IP, at which point the output updates. Switching back to the Default User generates output right away.

Choosing your Location

For the first time, you can target specific locations when connecting to your proxies:

Important: Selecting your country and city in the interface alone does not guarantee location filtering. The username in your setup is what determines country and city filtering. For example, for proxies in Los Angeles, US, your credentials should look like this:
username-us-city_los_angeles

Session Types

The Endpoint Generator lets you choose between Rotating and Sticky sessions:

  • Rotating: works like our existing Rotating Proxy Endpoint connection method: each request connects through a different IP endpoint.

  • Sticky: keeps you on the same proxy IP for a set duration, set by a timer in your dashboard (anywhere from 1 minute to 24 hours).

Exporting Proxy Credentials

Once you've set your connection details, you'll find a ready-to-use test cURL command above your selected options, which you can run in Terminal or Command Prompt.

The endpoint output supports three formats:

  • Username:Password:IP:Port

  • HTTP

  • SOCKS5

Under Number of Endpoints, choose how many proxies you need (up to 10,000). You can then copy your current output to your clipboard, or use Export As to download it as CSV, JSON, or TXT.

Alternative Gateway for p.webshare.io

If your program doesn't accept p.webshare.io, or your network rejects this host, you can use an alternative by following our Gateway IP Address guide. The same gateway IP addresses work across all of your connection methods.
