What are the Rotating Residential Proxies?

A simple overview of Rotating Residential Proxies: what they are, their features, best use cases, and available locations.

Rotating Residential Proxies route your traffic through real home devices: actual phones, computers, and routers that belong to everyday people. Because traffic appears to come from a regular person at home, websites are far less likely to block it.

The "rotating" part means your IP address changes automatically every few hours. Your connection details stay the same, but the IP address behind them refreshes automatically, so you don't have to manage anything manually.

Rotating Residential proxies are priced per GB, so you will be billed only for the bandwidth that you select and need with your plan.

Key Features

  • Real residential IPs: Genuine addresses from real home devices, not datacenters, so your traffic looks natural.

  • 80M+ IP pool: A pool large enough to keep rotating without reusing the same IPs.

  • Automatic rotation: IPs refresh every few hours on their own, no setup needed.

  • Country, state, city, ZIP code and ASN targeting: Choose the exact location or ISP network you want your traffic to come from when setting up your proxy configuration.

  • Pay per GB: Pay only for the data you need to use, and scale up or down anytime.

  • Fewer blocks and CAPTCHAs: High-quality IPs that hold up well against common anti-bot systems.

  • HTTP and SOCKS5 support: Works with the connection types most tools use.

  • 99.97% uptime: A stable, reliable network you can count on.

  • Ethically sourced: Every IP comes from carefully selected, compliant partners.

What are they best for?

Rotating Residential Proxies work best when you need lots of different IPs and want to look like a real home user:

  • Web scraping — collect public web data across many sites without getting blocked

  • SEO tracking — check search results from different locations

  • Market research — gather public pricing and product data

  • Ad verification — see how ads appear in different countries

  • Social media management — manage multiple accounts more safely

  • Ecommerce monitoring — track competitor pricing and availability

They're ideal for tasks that need high IP variety and lower bandwidth. If you need the same IP to stay fixed over time (for example, logging into one account), a Static Residential Proxy is usually the better choice.

How many countries are available?

You can target 195 countries, with the option to narrow down to a specific city. For the United States you can also target a specific state or ZIP code, and you can target a specific ASN (ISP network) across the whole pool. This makes it easy to collect data or check content exactly as it appears in a given location.

Location filters are applied one at a time through the Endpoint Generator. For the full setup walkthrough, see our Endpoint Generator guide.
